Ringstraße

The Ringstraße with its numerous historical magnificent buildings, the parks, and the impressive palaces is among the most beautiful boulevards of the world.

Walk Around the Ring Route 1 Starting point of this walk is the Vienna State Opera; other buildings along this route are the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Museum of Art History) and the Naturhistorisches Museum (Museum of Natural History), the Parliament Building, the Rathaus (City Hall), and the Burgtheater (Imperial Court Theater), as well as the neo-Gothic Votive Church.

Walk Around the Ring Route 2

Starting point is the Vienna State Opera; from here, we go past the Hotel Sacher and the famous Ringstraße palaces to the Hotel Imperial. We also visit the building of the Wiener Musikverein (Viennese Music Association), in which on January 1st the world-famous New Year’s concert takes place, and Vienna's most beautiful Baroque church, St. Charles's Church. The tour ends in the city park at the famous monument of Johann Strauß.







Duration approx. 1 1/2 to 2 hours each. No visits inside any of the buildings, therefore also no entrance fees.
